Alec desperately needs counseling with his daughter. The alienation is allowing him through heartbreak, to destroy a part of himself, and what remains of the Father-Daughter relationship.

My understanding of parental alienation is the reason I was interviewed on air after both Elizabeth Smart and Shawn Hornbeck initially didn't appear particularly thrilled to be rescued from the captors.

(Also, I was the first to investigate and publish that Richard Gardner*, the creator of Parental Alienation Syndrome, committed suicide. His family released a statement that he died in his sleep. * Gardner made a fortune testifying at child abuse trials. Claims of abuse were defended with Gardner stating "She's trying to alienate me from my child" and judges never got around to looking at evidence. They simply responded in boot jack manner by awarding custody to the person responsible for the child's injuries. Often mother's who reported abuse were accused of alienation and sentenced to "supervised visitation." The crimes against the child were never investigated.

And that's Family Court; which is also rife with fake lawyers and therapists. I've exposed both. Susan Griffin a fake San Diego therapist, (fined by the State - and yet...judges continue sentencing litigants to her visitation agency).

Then there's Ron Lais, now serving 14 years for continuing to practice law on the Internet after the State forced his resignation.
